Palestinian Freedom Statement

‘Muslim Women For’ reaffirms unrelenting support for the people of Palestine - no matter where they are, from the Gaza Strip to diaspora in North Carolina and all across the globe. Israel has imprisoned 2 million Palestinians in an open-air prison, displaced thousands from their homes, killed thousands of children, and restricted access to electricity, food and medicine.

Politicians and media continue to misrepresent the Palestinian people and distort history and truth, which we know will further perpetuate Islamophobia and attacks on Muslims in our community. We will  continue to resist these harmful narratives. We commit to a future where all people can live with dignity and freedom from violence. 

We have a divine mandate to resist injustice and oppression. Muslim Women For will continue to prioritize the safety of directly impacted people in our North Carolina communities. We commit to taking care of you and ask that you lift your voice with us.
